Every garment begins at the brand’s Stockholm atelier, where the design team collaborates with a trusted network of fabric suppliers, pattern makers, and professional riders. Through a meticulous prototyping process, each detail—from fabric selection to construction—is carefully refined to uphold YAGYA’s core values: conscious production, technical innovation, and elevated design creating a wardrobe that transcends trends.

All of YAGYA’s garments are cut and sewn exclusively in Europe, using locally sourced fabrics, most often from Italy.

Keeping production close to the Stockholm atelier allows YAGYA to maintain full oversight of every step—ensuring quality, accountability, and alignment with their values from first sketch to final stitch.

YAGYA works with a small, select group of manufacturing partners. Their primary partner is a family-owned factory in Lithuania, a relationship that has been in place since 2001.

This factory employs a dedicated team of 31 skilled staff—most of whom are women—and handles all production in-house. No outsourcing or subcontracting is involved, ensuring full visibility and control over each stage of manufacturing.

The factory upholds strict ethical labour standards:

• All employees are registered in the national social system
• Wages exceed the legal minimum
• All staff are employed on permanent contracts—never seasonal or leased
• Standard 40-hour workweeks with no excessive overtime
• Health and safety protocols are regularly reviewed and audited
• No forced labour, child labour, or discrimination
• Employees retain full control over personal documentation
• Open dialogue is encouraged through regular staff feedback

YAGYA places high priority on ensuring ethical working conditions across all areas of its business, adhering to industry certifications and established ethical standards. The brand is committed to building conscious, responsible practices by fostering safe, healthy environments and promoting awareness among stakeholders.

Nearly all of Dada’s technical fabrics are sourced from Italy, a country globally recognised for its textile excellence.

• Cotton is a natural, plant-based fibre known for its excellent qualities in clothing production—it's breathable, soft, and naturally biodegradable, making it both functional and environmentally friendly.
• Organic Cotton is cultivated without pesticides or synthetic fertilisers and typically requires less irrigation, relying primarily on rainwater. It’s widely regarded as the gold standard in sustainable textile production for its lower environmental impact and eco-conscious farming practices.
• Elastane is highly durable and despite its stretchiness, is less prone to tearing or wearing out compared to other fabrics.
• LYCRA® Elastane is the original spandex/elastane fibre. LYCRA® fibre adds premium stretch and recovery, transforming garments into better-fitting, more durable clothes that move with your body.
• Polyamide, commonly known as Nylon and used in Microfibre PA, is valued for its exceptional strength, durability, and moisture-wicking properties.
• Recycled Polyamide, also referred to as Recycled Nylon, is a synthetic material made from waste sources like discarded fishing nets, carpets, and industrial scraps. It offers a sustainable alternative to virgin polyamide by reducing waste and lowering dependence on new raw materials.
• Polyester is a widely used synthetic fabric, known for its durability and easy-care properties. However, it is less breathable than natural fibres and has a notable environmental impact. For this reason, polyester is used sparingly in Dada’s collections, with the brand favouring more sustainable materials whenever possible.
• Recycled Polyester uses significantly fewer energy resources to produce compared to virgin polyester. Made by melting down post-consumer plastic waste and re-spinning it into new fibres, it helps divert plastic from landfills.
• Primaloft® Silver Insulation Eco are industry leaders in providing the ultimate in lightweight warmth and comfort. Made from 100% recycled fibres, sourced primarily from plastic water bottles.
• Silk is a premium natural fibre that’s fully biodegradable and minimally processed, making it an environmentally conscious choice.
• Italian Cow Leather is full-grain cowhide tanned using traditional, vegetable-based methods. The natural oils found in the region's particular vegetables allow the leather to remain both elastic and strong. This centuries-old process enhances the leather’s durability, rich character, and natural aging.
