More than just a product range, Voyagers embodies an outdoor lifestyle, fostering the bond between people and their dogs through a shared spirit of adventure. Each garment is handmade in the USA using high-performance outerwear fabrics built to withstand the rain, snow, and freezing temperatures, keeping your dog warm, dry, and comfortable in any environment.

Craftsmanship

Design

Central to Voyagers’ philosophy is its unique commitment to breed-specific sizing. Recognising that every dog is different, Voyagers offers tailored fits for 25 breeds with made-to-measure options available.

Each breed collection features a variety of styles, including:

Winter Coats – the warmest option, built to keep your pup dry and insulated in cold weather
Raincoats – lightweight protection designed to keep your dog dry during wet weather
Tummy Warmers – ideal for added core warmth without restricting movement

For select breeds:

Hood Warmers – protect the neck and ears from wind and cold
Dog Booties – safeguard paws from snow, ice, and rough terrain
Cooling Coats – made with evaporative technology and UV protection to help keep dogs cool in warmer conditions

Every style comes in multiple sizes and colour options tailored to each breed, allowing owners to select garments that align with their dog’s shape, personality and lifestyle needs.

Materials

All materials used in Voyagers’ garments are carefully reviewed to ensure they are safe for direct contact with a dog’s sensitive skin and coat. Each fabric is chosen not only for comfort but also for durability and performance in various outdoor conditions. For Voyagers' Winter Coats and Raincoats, these include:

Polartec® Fleece, the original soft fleece that sets the industry standard for warmth without weight, high breathability and long-lasting durability in a synthetic knit. It is a highly rated material that Voyagers has trusted for over 20 years, providing the best all-around characteristics for a warm layer for active dogs.
Taslan® Nylon, a midweight fabric with a waterproof-breathable coated backing. This fabric is puncture and tear resistant, while remaining flexible enough to maintain proper fit on active dogs.

Manufacturing

Re♻️Coat Program

Built to last, Voyagers' garments often outlive the needs of a single dog. In the U.S., customers can return gently used coats in exchange for store credit, helping extend the life of each item while reducing landfill waste and keeping more dogs warm and dry.

This circular model not only promotes responsible consumption but also provides an accessible option for customers who may not be able to afford a new coat or who wish to support a more sustainable approach. Refurbished coats are made available for purchase through the Re♻️Coat program—an offering unique to Voyagers within the pet apparel industry.

While the program is not yet available in Australia due to logistical and carbon footprint considerations, Voyagers is working toward global expansion of the initiative, especially through partnerships with like-minded retailers such as CLK.

Production

All garments are proudly made to order at Voyagers’ headquarters in Seattle, Washington. By producing in-house and shipping directly from HQ, Voyagers not only ensures quality control but also reduces its carbon footprint, avoiding the environmental impact associated with overseas manufacturing and additional shipping emissions. With this approach the brand also avoids traditional bulk manufacturing packaging and significantly reduce unnecessary waste.
